MOISTURIZE MOISTURIZE MOISTURIZE!!







We tend to think of dry skin as a winter problem, but regardless of the season, moisturizing is super important before your boudoir session!


- Exfoliate with a great body scrub.

- Moisturize your entire body (including those tootsies) twice a day for a week before your session.


Healthy, glowing skin will make your photos pop, so lather up!!














HYDRATE... FROM THE INSIDE!


Drink at least 8 glasses of water each day, starting a week before your session. This is even more important when it's hot outside. Hydration improves the skin elasticity, reduces puffiness, and all-around makes you look AND feel better.


AVOID THE SUN ... THAT'S RIGHT NO TANNING!



Stay out of the sun, if possible. If you would like a sun-kissed glow, then consider a natural spray tan. If you do want to tan outside, be sure to use a sunscreen, and stop 7-10 days before your session. Tanning all the way up to your date can lead to unnatural skin tones, peeling, and dry skin which could give the appearance of leathery skin in your photos.


Additionally, if you have tan lines, they are nearly impossible to eliminate during editing (and you may be charged extra for retouching). Sunburns are not only painful and uncomfortable, but they will be cause for you to reschedule your session, resulting in rescheduling fees.
